That work looks like spreadsheets, standardized reports, meeting notes with central office, and last-minute placement calls. It also looks like counseling students, designing summer supports, and writing program evaluation documents that survive scrutiny.

The tension is between mission and compliance. You are promoting an educational philosophy while also proving, in black and white, that it is working and being used correctly.

This matters beyond one school. As education roles absorb more reporting and accountability, the people who run programs are also becoming the people who manage the data that proves those programs matter.
